Prepare For Your Trip To The Mountain!
If you're coming to The Mountain for the first time this weekend, we want to make your trip not only memorable but easy too!
First of all we are a cash only facility. We do not accept cards, but an ATM is on-site.
Please be aware of all times on the running order. Please make sure you are registered on time. We will need to have line ups posted by 4:30PM. If you arrive after registration closes, you may have to start at the rear of the heat race. Please be aware of the running order and be ready when it is your time to be on the track. Prayer and National Anthem will be promptly at 5:00PM and straight into the racing program.
If you are traveling north bound I-75 to arrive at Thunder Mountain Speedway this weekend. Please be aware there is a low clearance over pass just south of the track entrance on HWY 26.
If you have a truck/trailer/camper over 11ft, DO NOT, we repeat, DO NOT take exit 11 or 15 and travel north on HWY 26. Please continue on I-75 North to exit 25 and follow the Corbin By-Pass to HWY 26.
Your GPS will tell you exit 11 or 15 is the quickest way to the track, but you will have to turn around and will add travel time. There is no safe place to turn around on HWY 26 with a large trailer.
Also be aware of construction between exit 15 and 25. Please exercise caution traveling to us this weekend!
We also offer our announcer audio through the MyRacePass app. An all access subscription is required. Audio is geofenced and only available at the track. Bring your Bluetooth speakers for your trailers, and headphones for the stands!
Raceceviers/Nitrobees are required at all times. We do not use the default channel due to interference from the airport. We use frequency 453.9500.
Channel 317 - Raceceiver
Channel 1116 - Small Nitrobee
Transponders must be mounted on the right rear axle tube with the silver label pointed toward the racing surface.

To ease congestion entering grounds, race car trailer please stay left and personal vehicles entering the pits stay right. Personal vehicles enter the pits must park all the way in the back along the fence near the cell tower. Please be aware of reserved parking in the pit area, and the pit area is one way to all traffic.
