Mods on the Mountain Results
Mods on the Mountain was another successful night on the mountain with a total of 75 cars entered for the event!
16 Mods signed in for Mods on the Mountain. Blake Brown of Corbin, KY went flag to flag in the 25 lap $2000 to win A-Main. Ben Petrey, Craig Stykes, Brandon Mullis, and Ace Claborn rounded out the top 5. Ben Petrey set fast time during qualifying at 14.021.
Late Models saw Logan Walls out of Junction City, KY picked up win #5 of 2025 at Thunder Mountain Speedway. This time it was not in his familiar #14 but in the 13D of Casey King. Caleb Todd, Clay Turner, Shawn Hibbard, and Evin Hinkle rounded out the top 5. Logan Walls also set quick time in qualifying at 12.790.
Hobby Stock showed up and showed out with 20 entries. Connor Stewart of Manchester, KY picked up the win doubling down on the weekend after picking up the win on Friday night at Hidden Hollow Speedway in Colson, KY. Ean Baker, Brayden Noble, Jason Callebs, and Zac Karr rounded out the top 5. Conner Stewart also set quick time in qualifying at 15.065. Hobby Stocks also had enough to run the last chance shoot out and was ran on a complete invert of the last 10 cars that finished the feature. Brandon Hutton of Corbin, KY picked the shoot out win for the extra $100.
FWD never disappoints on the mountain with very close competitive racing. Christopher Meyer of Wallingford, KY was able to get around Austin Leach to pick up his first feature win at Thunder Mountain Speedway. Austin Leach, DJ Hayes, Jim Rowland, and Eric Partin rounded out the top 5. Austin Leach sent fast time at 15.171.
Crown Vics are always entertaining on the mountain. Joseph McGill picked up his first win on his first trip to Thunder Mountain. Trace Wilson, Brian Nantz, Joshua Shupe, and Matthw Shupe rounded out the top 5. Trace Wilson set quick time at 16.063.
The Jr. FWD feature was ran before intermission and Skyler Hayes picked up another win on the Mountain for 2025. Skyler also set quick time at 15.458. Easton Ray, Chase Dalton, and Jayce Howlington rounded out the rest of the field.
